Junior Automation Engineer Zaventem

Our client specializes in industrial refrigeration systems and compressors, with applications in the food sector, freezing and distribution, industrial installations, chemistry, and gas. As a Junior Automation Engineer, you will come into contact with advanced systems and get the opportunity to further expand your expertise in automation, compressors, and cooling.

In this role, you will be part of a small, specialized team responsible for the automation of refrigeration and heat pump systems.

You will work together with engineering to determine the correct specifications for projects, program PLCs, and perform electrical tasks.

Occasionally, you will visit customers to start up and commission machines.

This is an ideal opportunity for a junior who wants to learn a lot and develop themselves in a technical environment. Bachelor's or Master's degree in electromechanics, automation, or equivalent.

Experience is not required; eagerness to learn and motivation are more important.

A good knowledge of PLC programming, especially Siemens TIA Portal.

Structured and accurate, able to work independently and function well in a team.

English is the working language due to the international environment; other languages are a plus.
