Mechanical Engineer (M/F)

As part of the development of its X-ray medical imaging equipment, DMS Imaging is strengthening its R&D team and recruiting a Mechanical Engineer. Within the mechanical team, you will contribute to the design of complex systems integrating high requirements in terms of precision, safety, ergonomics, industrialization, and regulatory compliance.

You will be responsible for the following missions:

1 . Mechanical design and development 2 . Management of subcontracting and external studies 3 . Industrialization and product monitoring 4 . Technical project management

Education and experience:

With a Master's degree (engineering school or equivalent) in mechanics, mechatronics, or mechanical design, you have at least 5 years of experience (ideally acquired in a regulated environment) in the medical, industrial, or complex equipment development sector.

Skills:

• Mechanical design of complex systems
• Proficiency in 3D CAD software: SolidWorks
• Knowledge of tolerancing, materials, manufacturing processes, and mechanical assemblies.
• Reading and creating technical drawings.
• Ability to write specifications and technical requirements.
• Ability to manage technical subcontracting and external design offices.
• Ability to structure projects with milestones, reviews, and validation of deliverables.
• Good understanding of contractual commitments related to engineering services.
• Knowledge of medical standards (IEC 60601, ISO 14971 risk management.).
• Proficiency in technical English
