Apave is looking for an ESP Calculation Engineer in Lyon.
Within the Limonest (Lyon) agency, the technical team plays a major role: enabling our clients to carry out their business in complete safety and thus contributing to the development of the Apave Group at the heart of the territories.
Concretely, what will your daily life consist of?
Within the Nuclear agency based in Tassin, you will perform verifications of calculation notes for pressure equipment, in compliance with regulations, specifications, and construction codes.
You will also be required to perform calculations to support the client in expertise or consulting missions on complex themes (non-linear analyses, sudden rupture, defect studies). You will manage your project autonomously, from contacting the client to clarify their needs and drafting the commercial proposal, to the completion of the service.

Profile Description:

First, your background:
With an Engineering degree or a Master 2 in Mechanics, you have acquired initial experience in a design office, engineering firm, or inspection body. You master one or more pressure equipment codes, conventional or nuclear: EN13445, CODAP, RCCM. You are familiar with analytical calculation software tools (Autopipe Vessel, Auxecap) or finite elements (ANSYS), but you also know how to verify the order of magnitude of results using RDM rules.
Next, your skills and personal qualities: You enjoy teamwork on projects of various sizes. Your ability to synthesize and your writing skills allow you to draft clear and concise reports. Your pedagogical sense allows you to present your conclusions during meetings with the client and to explain complex calculation methods. Rigor, reactivity, and autonomy are essential qualities to succeed in this position. Knowledge of technical English is indispensable.
