Data Migration Engineer

Key Responsibilities Develop extraction, transformation, and load (ETL) jobs based on conversion specifications.

Build reconciliation queries and control totals to validate row counts, data accuracy, and referential integrity.

Execute migration cycles and resolve identified defects.

Maintain data lineage records and contribute to the source-defect register.

Handle personal data in accordance with applicable government or regulatory requirements.

Use AI coding tools for development and review generated code before committing.

Requirements 3–5 years of experience in ETL or data engineering.

At least 1 year of experience in a data migration project involving personal data under a government or regulatory regime.

Strong experience with AWS Glue, PySpark, and Python.

Advanced SQL skills across PostgreSQL and legacy platforms.

Experience with Government Commercial Cloud (GCC) or an equivalent controlled cloud environment.

Knowledge of data reconciliation, control totals, data lineage, and referential integrity. EA Number: 11C4879
