Job Description
Within the Brand Commerce & Marketing Division, you will be responsible for the strategy formulation and execution that captures two touchpoints simultaneously: the "full-scale entry of Japanese brands into the North American market" and "inbound consumption by Americans visiting Japan." Utilizing our unique data infrastructure capable of analyzing domestic retail POS data by nationality and prefecture, you will be in charge of everything from market research and competitor benchmarking to entry strategies and the design of annual communication plans.
Formulation of entry strategies for North American/global markets and brand strategies
Formulation of demand acquisition strategies for Americans visiting Japan (inbound)
Analysis of inbound consumption realities and target design using POS and nationality-based purchase data
Positioning design based on market research and competitor benchmarking
Design and proposal of annual communication plans
Design of channel strategies, including the use of local KOLs/influencers
Design of channels including domestic physical touchpoints such as duty-free shops, drugstores, and tourist destinations
Design of creative direction, such as WEB CM/catchphrases
Post-measure reporting and PDCA design

Experience in strategic design for overseas markets: Reproducible skills in market research to entry strategy formulation
The dual engines of US Market × Inbound: A rare career designing both "selling overseas" and "selling to inbound visitors" simultaneously
Empirical verification using unique data: High-precision hypothesis testing using domestic retail POS data by nationality
Full-funnel experience: Consistent handling from awareness/branding to purchase/acquisition (EC)
Rapid growth: The volume zone for the manager layer is 27–28 years old. Abundant opportunities for internal entrepreneurship and challenges at overseas bases
Application Requirements
【Mandatory Requirements】
2+ years of experience in planning/planning within the advertising or marketing industry
Business communication skills in English, or practical experience in projects for overseas markets
【Preferred Requirements】
Practical experience in marketing and brand strategy targeting the North American market
Practical experience in cross-border EC, overseas expansion support, or inbound marketing
Track record in duty-free, tourism, retail, or hospitality sectors
Management experience / experience working or studying abroad
