*Overview* We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, as well as proficiency in various accounting and financial software. This role is crucial for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing insightful financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
*Responsibilities*
- Prepare audit, review and compilation financial statements ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
- Communicate with clients so they are informed of current status and deal with CRA
*Experience*
- Bachelor?s degree in Accounting with CPA certification..
- Min. 4 year experience in CPA firm
- Proficiency in accounting (Caseware & Caseview) and tax (Taxprep) software and financial software tools.
- Strong understanding of financial concepts, including balance sheet reconciliation, account reconciliation, payroll processing, and regulatory reporting.
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
