Product Owner

(Financial-Insurance Industry)

Join a project being implemented for one of the largest organizations in the financial-insurance sector in Poland. We are looking for an experienced Product Owner who will be responsible for the development and delivery of digital products used by millions of customers.

Daily tasks

• Defining the product vision and roadmap in line with business goals
• Managing the product backlog and prioritizing work based on business value
• Making product decisions and managing trade-offs (time, cost, scope, quality)
• Conducting the discovery phase and product development based on user needs and data
• Collaborating with the business, IT teams, and key stakeholders
• Defining, monitoring, and analyzing product metrics (KPI, OKR, NPS)
• Responsibility for the success of end-to-end product implementations
• Supporting the change process and resolving conflicts between business and IT

Requirements

Min. 3 years of experience as a Product Owner in the insurance industry Experience in implementing at least 3 commercial products, including at least one from the insurance sector Very good knowledge of Scrum and Agile team working practices Experience in creating and implementing product strategy and roadmaps Advanced work with backlogs, user stories, and prioritization Ability to manage stakeholders and their expectations Experience in defining and analyzing product metrics Strong decision-making, negotiation, and communication skills Ability to conduct discovery, workshops, and user needs analysis Very good knowledge of technological issues (API, integrations, IT systems) Knowledge of Jira, Confluence, and Miro Agile/Scrum certification (e.g., PSPO II or equivalent) English language at a minimum B2 level Nice to have: Experience collaborating with UX Basic knowledge of SQL and log analysis Ability to conduct workshops (Story Mapping, Event Storming) Knowledge of Google Analytics 4 or similar tools Experience working with experiments and A/B testing Advanced Agile certifications (PSM II, SAFe, LeSS) Using AI tools in working with the product, backlog, and needs analysis
