GCP Operations Engineer

About the role

For our Client in the logistics industry, we are looking for a person for the position of GCP Operations Engineer (m/f), who will be responsible for the operational maintenance and development of the Google Cloud Platform environment.

This is a role with a clearly operational-administrative character focused on GCP.

Daily tasks

• administration and maintenance of the GCP environment,
• designing and developing the Landing Zone in accordance with best practices,
• implementing and developing solutions in the area of Cloud Governance,
• configuring and managing networks in Google Cloud Platform,
• automating administrative tasks using scripts and code,
• collaborating with technical teams regarding the maintenance and development of the cloud environment.

Requirements

experience in an Operations Engineer, Cloud Administrator, or similar operational profile position, expert knowledge of Google Cloud Platform, practical experience with GCP in production, experience in the area of Cloud Governance, experience in designing and implementing Landing Zone, very good knowledge of networking issues in GCP, ability to write scripts and code (e.g., Python, Bash, Terraform or similar) to automate and perform administrative tasks, knowledge of the English language enabling free communication, independence and an approach focused on maintaining a stable and secure environment.
