Data & Analytics Programme Manager

About the company

For our Client, a global organization in the banking sector, we are looking for an experienced individual for the position of Programme Director, responsible for leading strategic transformation in the area of data, analytics, and technology.

Your tasks

This is a high-impact business role, combining responsibility for defining the direction of transformation, managing a portfolio of initiatives, collaborating with executive management, and overseeing the implementation of programs on a global scale. The position offers the opportunity to shape strategic organizational decisions and lead changes spanning multiple business and technological areas.

• Defining and implementing the transformation strategy and the long-term program roadmap.
• Managing a portfolio of related initiatives and transformation programs.
• Overseeing the achievement of key business, technological, and operational goals.
• Building relationships and collaborating with senior management and key stakeholders.
• Leading decision-making processes and aligning priorities between business and technological areas.
• Managing risks, dependencies, and critical elements of the program.
• Creating and maintaining effective governance mechanisms and reporting for executive management.
• Responsibility for the program budget, investment planning, and resource allocation.
• Overseeing teams of Program Managers, Project Managers, and PMO functions.
• Ensuring the realization of intended business benefits and effective adoption of changes within the organization.

Requirements

• Many years of experience in leading large transformation programs in a complex corporate environment.
• Proven success in managing a portfolio of projects of high scale and complexity.
• Experience collaborating with executive management and stakeholders at a strategic level.
• Knowledge of areas related to data, analytics, technology, or organizational transformation.
• Experience in managing budgets, business cases, and investment planning.
• Ability to manage risk, governance, and dependencies between multiple initiatives.
• Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication competencies.
• Ability to make decisions in a dynamic, multi-stakeholder environment.
• Very good knowledge of the English language.
