Automation Tester / QA Automation Engineer

Your tasks

We are looking for an Automation Tester for a team implementing projects in the area of software development and quality, who will be responsible for creating, developing, and maintaining automated tests as well as supporting CI/CD processes.

We are looking for a person who not only moves efficiently within the existing automation environment but also actively participates in its development and improvement.

• creating automated test scripts based on documentation and requirements provided by project teams,
• preparing data and scenarios necessary for test execution,
• running automated tests and reporting their results,
• analyzing test results and reporting detected bugs,
• developing and maintaining existing automation scripts,
• configuring and maintaining environments for running tests,
• developing CI/CD configurations and processes,
• implementing new tools and methods supporting test automation,
• creating and developing documentation and a knowledge base regarding automated testing.

Requirements

• minimum 4 years of experience in test automation,
• very good knowledge of Java and TypeScript,
• very good knowledge of tools and technologies: Selenium WebDriver, Cucumber, REST Assured, Allure Report, Jenkins, Maven, and Playwright,
• very good knowledge of SQL,
• experience with version control systems, e.g., Git, Bitbucket, or GitLab,
• knowledge of tools supporting the testing process, such as JIRA, Confluence, SQL Developer, SoapUI/Postman, and Excel,
• good knowledge of software testing principles, techniques, and best practices,
• experience working according to Agile/Scrum,
• English language proficiency allowing for free work with technical documentation and professional communication,
• higher education, preferably technical,
• analytical approach, accuracy, independence, proactivity, and very good work organization.

• knowledge of AWS,
• experience with Datadog or Appium,
• ISTQB certification.
