About the project
Our client is one of the largest organizations in the financial sector in Poland, implementing wide-ranging technological transformation initiatives in software.
For a team developing modern systems in an environment based on microservices architecture, we are looking for a System Architect who will combine the role of Tech Lead with active participation in the software production process. The project is long-term in nature and involves collaboration on the construction and development of key business solutions using modern technologies, cloud, and AI tools supporting the development process.

Daily tasks
- Acting as a Tech Lead in a Scrum team
- Active programming and implementation of business requirements in Java technology
- Designing and developing the architecture of systems and microservices
- Cooperation with the Product Owner and business stakeholders in defining technical solutions
- Designing and developing integrations and API
- Defining technical standards and ensuring their compliance
- Conducting code review and ensuring the quality of delivered solutions
- Mentoring and supporting the development of the developers team
- Solving complex technical problems
- Ensuring the performance, security, and scalability of systems
- Cooperation with architectural, DevOps, and other Scrum teams
- Participation in technological decisions and risk analysis
- Using cloud solutions (preferably Azure)
- Using AI and Agentic AI in the development process and work automation
Requirements
Minimum 5 years of experience in designing and building web systems Very good knowledge of Java and experience in active programming Experience in designing microservices architecture and distributed systems Very good knowledge of architectural and integration patterns Experience in designing API and system integrations Practical knowledge of Domain-Driven Design (DDD) Experience working with relational databases and SQL Knowledge of Event-Driven Architecture Experience in the area of observability and system monitoring Knowledge of application security principles Experience in leading a technical team, mentoring, and code review Ability to cooperate between teams Experience in making technological decisions and risk assessment Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes English language at a minimum B2 level Readiness to work in a hybrid model from the office in Warsaw (3 days a week) Nice to have Practical knowledge of Azure or other cloud solutions Experience with CI/CD and DevOps practices Knowledge of AI solutions supporting the Software Development Lifecycle Experience in implementing automation that increases the efficiency of developer teams
