Job Description

• Position Title: Project Engineer / Manager
• Working Location: Loyang Lane
• Working Hours: 5 days (Mon – Fri, 8.00am – 5.30pm)
• Salary Package: Basic salary up to $4,500 + AWS + Variable Bonus
• Duration: Permanent Role

Your tasks

• Plan, organise, oversee, and manage projects to ensure completion within agreed timelines.
• Manage New Product Introduction (NPI) projects to meet specifications and requirements, ensuring a smooth transition to mass production while identifying and minimising potential risks.
• Work closely with customers to discuss product specifications, requirements, costs, schedules, and quality standards.
• Prepare and provide quotations for tools and moulded parts based on Requests for Quotation (RFQ).
• Collaborate with tool designers and engineering teams on Design for Manufacturing (DFM), and manage project documentation, technical updates, and engineering changes.
• Provide regular updates to management on ongoing project progress.
• Actively identify and pursue new business opportunities.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers to secure additional projects and expand the sales pipeline through new customer acquisition.

How to apply

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Precision Engineering, or a related field.
• Practical knowledge and experience in plastic injection moulding, injection tool fabrication, or mechanical product design.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong leadership skills to guide and support project teams in delivering quality work and meeting project objectives.
