Job Description

• Position Title: Lab Technician (R&D)
• Working Location: Ang Mo Kio
• Working Hours: 5 days (Mon - Fri, 8.00am - 5.00pm)
• Salary Package: Basic salary up to $3,500 + AWS + Variable Bonus
• Duration: Permanent Role

Your tasks

• Assist Adhesive R&D Scientists in developing, testing, and scaling up new adhesive products.
• Prepare samples for research, development, and testing purposes.
• Conduct product performance tests, record results, and prepare testing reports.
• Operate, maintain, and ensure the proper functioning of laboratory equipment.
• Manage chemical storage, inventory, laboratory supplies, and consumables.
• Collect, organise, and analyse experimental data using Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Prepare formal technical reports, including relevant charts, tables, and findings.
• Maintain accurate records of chemicals, samples, evaluation results, and customer testing feedback.
• Follow laboratory safety procedures and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Perform other hands-on laboratory duties as assigned.

How to apply

• Diploma in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related science or technical discipline.
• Relevant experience in the coatings, paints, or adhesives industry is advantageous.
• Good attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Familiar with chemical handling and raw material management.
