Responsibilities:

Structural Design and Analysis:

Design and analyze structural systems for multiple projects, including buildings, power plants, and other infrastructure. Prepare detailed structural calculations, drawings, and specifications. Ensure that all structural designs comply with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.

Multi-Site Project Management:

Oversee structural engineering activities across multiple construction sites simultaneously.  Coordinate with architects, contractors, and other engineering disciplines to ensure seamless project execution. Review and approve structural shop drawings and construction methodologies.

Technical Oversight and Quality Control:

Provide expert technical guidance and support to site teams on structural matters. Conduct structural inspections during construction to ensure compliance with approved designs. Identify and resolve structural issues that arise during construction. Ensure that all structural work meets the highest quality standards. 

Stakeholder and Team Management:

Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, and regulatory authorities on structural engineering matters. Lead and mentor junior engineers and technical staff. Prepare and present structural reports and recommendations to senior management and clients.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with specialization in Structural Engineering, or a related field. Must be a COREN-registered engineer. Minimum of 5 years of experience in structural engineering and design. Proven experience managing structural engineering activities across multiple projects. Engaging engineering activities across multiple projects.

Essential Skills:

Structural Design Expertise: Strong knowledge of structural analysis, design principles, and construction materials (concrete, steel, etc.). Software Proficiency: Proficient in structural design software such as STAAD Pro, ETABS, SAP 2000, AutoCAD, or similar. Project Management: Excellent project management and organizational skills. Problem-Solving: Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities. Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills. Leadership: Proven ability to lead teams and work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.

Remuneration: NGN 300,000 - 500,000
