Technician (m/f/d) – Mechanical Component Testing | Augsburg | Aerospace (Technician - Electrical Engineering (Automation Technology)/Bachelor Professional in Technology)

We are looking for a Technician (m/f/d) for mechanical component testing for our client in Augsburg at the earliest possible date. You will work in an internationally leading aerospace company and will be responsible for performing and optimizing complex component tests in series production and development.

Your Tasks

• Organization and provision of the periphery required for tests
• Setup and execution of complex static and dynamic component tests
• Support in the definition and optimization of test sequences
• Execution of static and dynamic tests with demanding specimen geometries
• Documentation and reporting to supervisors and internal clients
• Support in the maintenance and modernization of systems and testing aids

What You Bring

• Completed vocational training and at least 3 years of professional experience in measurement technology, sensor technology, electrical engineering, or automation technology
• Knowledge in theoretical and practical measurement technology, application of ARAMIS measurement systems, standard mechanical testing methods, and hydraulic testing machines (Instron, software and hardware)
• Knowledge of structural bonding is desirable
• Experience in specimen preparation and test automation is desirable
• Good written and spoken English skills
• Independent, structured, and goal-oriented way of working
