About the company

AngloGold Ashanti (Ghana) Malaria Control (AGAMal) is a non-profit organisation working toward malaria elimination in Ghana. We’re restructuring and rescoping our operations, and we’re looking for a Programme Director to lead that transformation.

Your tasks

You’ll provide strategic and executive leadership for AGAMal: setting the strategic agenda, mobilising resources, building partnerships with government, donors and the private sector, and overseeing malaria control and integrated public health programmes. You’ll be the Board’s principal adviser on strategy, operations and policy.

Requirements

What we’re looking for A Master’s degree in Public Health, Medical Entomology, Epidemiology, Tropical Medicine or a related field

At least 5 years in senior leadership within public health or development programmes

Experience managing large, multi-site, donor-funded programmes and multidisciplinary teams

Experience in resource mobilisation, proposal development and financial oversight

Knowledge of malaria control and integrated vector management

A results-driven, innovative leader with strong integrity and stakeholder skills
