Manager, Fund Raising
The Fundraising Manager is responsible for developing and implementing fundraising strategies that grow donations, strengthen donor relationships and mobilize community support. The role oversees sponsorships and partnerships, public fundraising campaigns, donor and volunteer engagement, events, external agencies, budgets, compliance and reporting. The Fundraising Manager will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders and use digital and traditional channels to meet donor acquisition, retention, engagement and income targets. Responsibilities Develop and implement strategies to secure corporate sponsorships, strategic partnerships and in-kind support.
Plan and deliver integrated public and community fundraising campaigns across physical and digital channels.
Monitor campaign performance and recommend improvements based on donor data and results.
Develop strategies to recruit, onboard, train, deploy, recognize and retain volunteers for fundraising campaigns, events and community activities.
Build productive relationships with donors, volunteers, community groups, corporate partners, agencies and other stakeholders.
Plan, coordinate and implement effective stakeholder and community engagement
Requirements Degree with 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in fundraising, community engagement, marketing, public campaigns, business development or a related field.
Proven record of developing and delivering successful public or community fundraising campaigns.
Demonstrated experience achieving fundraising income, donor acquisition, donor retention or engagement targets with the ability to manage multiple campaigns, events and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Strong understanding of individual and corporate donor acquisition, regular giving, donor stewardship, donor retention and volunteer retention.
Experience using CRM or donor management systems with good understanding of digital fundraising, social media, crowdfunding and online giving platforms.
Excellent project management, analytical, proposal-writing and budget-monitoring capabilities.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
