As a System Automation Engineer - Observability (m/w/d), you are responsible for our VictoriaMetrics-based observability platform. You will continuously develop the platform and enable other teams to integrate it into their processes. Furthermore, you will support the maintenance and further development of the Anexia Automation Platform, which is based on Ansible, while always keeping an eye on the overall architecture and the interaction between both platforms.

Our VictoriaMetrics-based observability platform complements our automation platform. Together, they simplify the deployment, operation, and maintenance of services at Anexia.

• Development and maintenance of our monitoring and alerting infrastructure

• Integration of existing systems into the platform

• Close cooperation with specialist teams in creating dashboards and alerts for deep insight into our infrastructure and services

• Participation in the further development of our automation platform - built on Ansible, AWX, GitLab, and Vault

• Ensuring seamless integration between the automation and observability platforms

#Wanted

• Several years of professional experience as an Automation Engineer, Systems Engineer, or Site Reliability Engineer

• Sound, practical experience in the productive use of VictoriaMetrics- or Prometheus-based observability systems

• Knowledge of the VictoriaMetrics and Prometheus ecosystem, including metric collection, querying, visualization, alerting, and troubleshooting - experience with Prometheus-based production alerting is a particular advantage

• Experience in automating Linux environments with tools such as Ansible, Chef, or Puppet (we use Ansible) as well as with common scripting languages like Python and Bash

• Solution-oriented way of working, enjoyment of teamwork, as well as the ability to work independently when required

• English skills in speaking and writing, German skills are an advantage
