Senior AWS Cloud Engineer – Terraform, Data & IA M/F
Job Description Founded in 2002, ANEO is a tech-first consulting firm that supports large organizations in their technological and organizational transformations. As part of a mission within the banking sector, we are looking for a Senior AWS Cloud Engineer to work on enterprise cloud platforms hosting critical business workloads, Data platforms, and IA services. You will evolve in a demanding AWS environment, with high stakes regarding resilience, security, governance, and cost control.
Your Role You will intervene across the entire platform lifecycle: “You build it, you run it”. Your role will not simply be to execute infrastructure tasks: you will need to understand the problems encountered, investigate, propose solutions, and contribute to technical choices. You will work with different Cloud, Data, security, and application teams, in an environment where the ability to take a step back is as important as tool mastery.
Your Missions Deploy and industrialize infrastructures with Terraform.
Operate and evolve Kubernetes / EKS environments.
Build and evolve AWS platforms, notably IA services such as SageMaker.
Diagnose incidents and complex technical issues.
Identify root causes and propose sustainable solutions.
Contribute to architecture choices and challenge the existing setup.
Work on network, security, and cloud governance issues.
Arbitrate between performance, resilience, security, and costs.
Evaluate new technologies and support their implementation.
Technical Environment Core stack: AWS, EKS / Kubernetes, Terraform, IAM, VPC, Landing Zones, DevSecOps. Depending on the topics: AWS Data & IA services, notably OpenSearch, Aurora/RDS, SageMaker, Bedrock, and SageMaker Unified Studio. We are not looking for someone who masters this entire stack. The core of the position is primarily based on AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, and your ability to understand and resolve complex issues.
The Profile Sought You have proven experience in building and operating AWS Cloud platforms, ideally in a banking or regulated environment. You are comfortable with AWS, Kubernetes, and Terraform, as well as with network, security, and production challenges. Beyond the technical side, we are looking for someone capable of: quickly understanding an existing environment;
investigating a problem in a structured manner;
seeking the cause rather than just treating the symptom;
proposing and defending pragmatic solutions;
challenging a technical choice with discernment;
moving forward autonomously when everything is not completely defined;
clearly explaining decisions to different stakeholders.
Exposure to Data / IA environments and an interest in agentic IA will be appreciated.

Location: Saint Quentin en Yvelines / Île-de-France
Remote work: hybrid, depending on mission constraints
Remuneration: €50,000 to €60,000 gross annual, depending on experience and expertise level
English: B2 minimum
