Packaging and Ingredients Buyer (M/F)

In order to support the development of its activities and guarantee the performance of its strategic purchases, Andros is looking for a:

PACKAGING AND INGREDIENTS BUYER (M/F)

Reporting to the Packaging and Ingredients Purchasing Manager, you will manage a strategic purchasing portfolio and contribute to securing supplies as well as optimizing the economic performance of the company.

Your mission:

• Define and implement the purchasing strategy for your direct management portfolio by ensuring market monitoring, sourcing, calls for tender, supplier negotiations, and follow-up of the action plan;
• Contribute to category management by participating in the definition and deployment of group purchasing strategies within your scope.
• Contribute to securing supplies and optimizing costs by anticipating market developments and proposing adapted action plans.
• Drive supplier performance through annual evaluations, management of non-conformities, and continuous improvement processes.
• Analyze purchasing indicators, propose standard price adjustments.
• Support various departments in their development and innovation projects, and implement the actions required by the sustainable performance plan.

With a higher education degree (Bac +4/+5) specialized in Purchasing, you have a successful experience of at least 3 to 5 years in a similar role, ideally acquired in an industrial environment.

You possess genuine experience in supplier negotiation and have already managed a purchasing portfolio independently. Curious and attracted to technical subjects, you are able to understand the challenges related to products, markets, and industrial processes.

Recognized for your analytical and synthesis skills, you are comfortable with numbers and know how to make decisions in a demanding and constantly evolving environment.

Your communication skills and interpersonal ease allow you to interact effectively with many internal and external stakeholders.

Finally, you are proficient in English, both written and spoken. Knowledge of packaging, ingredients, or the agri-food industry would be appreciated.
