R&D Test Engineer (M/F)

To support its ambitions and successfully carry out its development and innovation projects, Andros is looking for a:

PLANT RESEARCH and DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER M/F

Reporting to the Head of the Plant Division and as part of a team of 7 people, you will ensure the development and optimization of the product range under your responsibility in connection with the Technical, Industrial, Quality, Marketing, and Commercial Departments. You will participate strongly in the development of the group's strategy and the execution of the innovation process by developing new products.

Your mission:

• Develop products and define manufacturing processes that meet the demands of our customers and our brands while respecting costs and quality,
• Manage product and process development and industrialization projects, organize pilot and industrial trials, and ensure their follow-up,
• Assist production with all problems related to formulation, processes, or implementation by providing technical expertise,
• Ensure the interface and correspondence with the marketing department,
• Propose product and/or process innovations in line with the company's objectives,
• Propose optimizations or improvements in formulation and processes and ensure qualitative, economic, and functional improvement of ingredients, products, and manufacturing processes. Having graduated from an IAA engineering school, you must have a first experience of 2 years in process acquired in the agri-food industry.

You possess a solid knowledge of the dairy/plant industrial environment, manufacturing processes, and formulation (raw materials, texturizers, functional ingredients...) which, combined with a very good spirit of analysis, initiative, and a keen sense of organization, allows you to quickly understand the challenges and propose relevant solutions.

You are familiar with dairy/plant product transformation processes including thermal treatment, transfer operations, standardization, and homogenization.

Your ability to communicate transversally will allow you to effectively manage interactions with the different departments of the company.

Curiosity, adaptability, proactivity, but also a good approach to the market and good knowledge of industrial product processes are essential to effectively manage your actions and successfully carry out your missions.

A sense of taste is necessary to regularly taste all our products.

You master IT tools and your English is fluent.

Permanent contract (CDI) based in Biars sur Cère (46), 45km from Brive la Gaillarde. Frequent travel to subsidiaries in France and Europe. Position eligible for teleworking according to company agreement.
