Engineering Proposals and Projects Manager - Oil & Gas

Responsibilities and assignments

• Strategically lead the Engineering Proposals and Projects areas for the Oil & Gas segment, ensuring integration between the commercial, technical, and operational fronts, aligned with the business growth, profitability, and sustainability objectives;
• Develop and implement business strategies for market expansion, conducting market analysis, competitor assessment, risk management, and defining competitive technical-commercial proposals for high-complexity projects;
• Manage the portfolio of proposals and projects, ensuring execution within the requirements of deadline, cost, quality, safety, and regulatory compliance, as well as achieving the expected financial and operational results;
• Act as the main interface with strategic clients, suppliers, and other stakeholders, conducting complex negotiations, strengthening long-term relationships, and identifying new business opportunities;
• Implement governance practices, risk management, and continuous improvement, monitoring performance indicators, promoting operational efficiency, and ensuring the mitigation of possible deviations and impacts on projects;
• Lead and develop high-performance multidisciplinary teams, promoting talent development, collaboration between areas, and the dissemination of best practices in engineering, project management, and business.

Requirements and qualifications

• Higher education in Engineering;
• Solid experience in managing proposals, contracts, and large-scale projects in the Oil & Gas segment, preferably with knowledge in heavy works;
• Solid knowledge of the specificities, regulations, and practices of the oil and gas sector;
• Proven experience in leading multidisciplinary teams and managing managers;
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder relationship skills, including strategic clients, suppliers, partners, and senior leadership, with the ability to conduct executive presentations and complex negotiations;
• Ability to act managing multiple projects simultaneously, mitigating risks and ensuring the fulfillment of operational and financial goals;
• Mastery of project and portfolio management methodologies and tools;
• Knowledge of project management tools, such as MS Project, among others, adapted to the needs of the oil and gas sector;
• Availability to travel, as necessary, to meet the demands of projects and clients in the oil and gas sector;
• Advanced English.
