Anax Resort & Spa, a luxury resort in Mykonos, is looking for a Reservations Manager to join its team and take charge of the smooth and efficient operation of the reservations department.
Main Responsibilities
- Supervision and coordination of the daily operations of the Reservations Department.
- Management of all reservations via telephone, email, website, OTA’s, and partners.
- Monitoring and management of availability, room inventory, rate plans, and restrictions.
- Management and updating of PMS/CRS and the corresponding booking platforms.
- Checking the accuracy of reservations, guest details, and special requests.
- Management of cancellations, modifications, deposits, and pre-arrival communication.
- Collaboration with the Front Office, Sales, and Revenue Management departments to maximize occupancy and revenue.
- Implementation of upselling and cross-selling strategies.
- Management of VIP reservations and special guest requirements.
- Monitoring of reports and key KPIs of the department.
- Training, guidance, and supervision of the Reservations team.
- Ensuring a high level of service according to the standards of a luxury resort.
Required Qualifications:
- At least 3 years of proven experience in a similar position as Reservations Manager / Reservations Supervisor in a hotel or luxury resort.
- Experience in a 4 or 5 star hotel environment**, preferably a luxury/boutique hotel.
- Very good knowledge of PMS/CRS and reservation management systems.
- Experience in managing room inventory, rates, availability, and booking channels.
- Very good knowledge of OTA extranets and online booking platforms.
- Excellent knowledge of the English language, both spoken and written.
- Very good knowledge of IT and MS Office, especially Excel.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Customer-centric and sales-oriented approach.
- Ability to work under pressure and effective problem-solving skills.
- Professionalism, consistency, attention to detail, and team spirit.
- Ability to work in Mykonos throughout the high season.
Additional Qualifications
- Degree in Tourism / Hotel Management Studies.
- Knowledge of a second foreign language.
- Experience in Protel, WebHotelier, or similar PMS/CRS.
- Experience in luxury hospitality and high-touch guest communication.
- Experience in team leadership and staff training.
- Knowledge of basic principles of Revenue & Yield Management.
