Reservations Agent
Anax Resort & Spa, a luxury resort in Mykonos, is looking for a Reservations Agent to join the Reservations Department team for the summer season. We are looking for a professional with organizational skills, excellent communication skills, and a strong orientation toward providing high-level hospitality. Main Responsibilities Management and entry of reservations via telephone, email, website, OTA’s, and partners. Communication with customers and travel agents before and during their stay. Providing information regarding availability, prices, room types, amenities, and hotel services. Management of new reservations, modifications, and cancellations. Monitoring availability and room inventory. Entry and updating of all necessary details in the PMS/reservation system. Monitoring special requests and VIP reservations and ensuring proper information is passed to the relevant departments. Collaboration with Front Office, Sales, Revenue, and other hotel departments for the smooth service of guests. Implementation of upselling and cross-selling techniques with the aim of improving the guest experience and increasing revenue. Ensuring a high level of service according to the standards of a luxury resort.
Required Qualifications At least 1–2 years of previous experience in a similar Reservations Agent position, preferably in a 4* or 5* hotel. Experience in a luxury hotel/resort will be considered an additional asset. Very good knowledge of the English language, both spoken and written. Very good knowledge of IT and MS Office. Familiarity with PMS/CRS and reservation management systems. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Customer-centric approach and professional behavior. Attention to detail and the ability to effectively manage multiple tasks. Ability to work in a high-demand and high-pressure environment. Team spirit and willingness to cooperate.
Desired Qualifications Degree in Tourism / Hotel Studies. Knowledge of a second foreign language. Experience in Opera, Protel, WebHotelier, or a similar PMS/CRS. Experience in OTA extranets and online booking platforms. Knowledge of basic Revenue Management principles. Previous experience in luxury hospitality.
