Required Qualifications: 5+ years of IT, systems administration, infrastructure, networking, cybersecurity, or related experience.

Experience administering Windows systems, Entra ID identity , and Intune-managed endpoints.

Working knowledge of Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 technologies.

Working knowledge of enterprise networking, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, VLANs, and firewalls.

Experience with system patching, hardening, vulnerability remediation, configuration management, and technical documentation.

Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to independently learn new technologies and progress from guided implementation to technical ownership.

Ability to meet applicable U.S. Government and customer security requirements.

Desired Qualifications: Azure Government/GCC High experience.

Experience with PowerShe ll cloud administration.

Familiarity with CMMC, NIST, RMF, STIGs, ISO, DCSA, or similar regulated-environment requirements.

Interest in developing toward a Deputy ISSM / system security support role .

Microsoft Azure/M365, Security+, or comparable technical certifications.

Experience supporting DoD, federal, or other regulated environments.

Active U.S. Government security clearance.

Growth and Development The engineer is expected to develop increasing ownership of AnaVation's cloud and infrastructure environment. The role also provides a development path toward Deputy ISSM responsibilities , including system security documentation, weekly system reviews, continuous monitoring, technical control validation, policy and procedure maintenance, assessment support, and other recurring system-security activities under the direction of the IT Manager/ISSM .
