CAMO Planner

Job Description: -

• Forecast and coordinate all scheduled maintenance requirements for the company fleet, taking aircraft utilization,

operational requirements, approved maintenance intervals and aircraft availability into account.

• Prepare short-, medium- and long-term maintenance forecasts and provide forecast reports to support operational

planning, budgeting and fleet-availability decisions.

• Evaluate maintenance proposals, work scopes, quotations and maintenance-provider capabilities, and support

management in selecting and contracting approved organisations for scheduled maintenance.

• Generate, monitor and update work packages for scheduled maintenance activities using the CAMP Maintenance

Tracking System.

• Enter aircraft utilization, daily maintenance discrepancies, maintenance accomplishments and completed workpackage

information into CAMP and other approved tracking systems.

• Report completed work packages in CAMP, monitor system updates and promptly identify, report and coordinate

the correction of errors, omissions or inconsistencies.

• Liaise with CAMP analysts and support personnel to resolve system discrepancies and implement approved tracking

changes.

• Maintain data integrity through routine quality checks and ensure that no maintenance requirement is altered,

deferred or extended without approved technical data and the required authorization

• Review aircraft work packages to ensure compliance with applicable civil aviation regulations, approved Aircraft

Maintenance Programmes, the Maintenance Control Manual and company procedures.

• Support the assessment, planning and tracking of airworthiness directives, service bulletins, mandatory inspections,

repairs and modifications.

• Maintain aircraft technical records and time-control systems for scheduled inspections, life-limited components,

airworthiness directives, service bulletins and other continuing-airworthiness requirements.

• Create and maintain an organized permanent record file for each aircraft and ensure that completed maintenance

forms, work packages, AD and SB compliance records, release certificates and other supporting documents are

properly filed and readily retrievable.

• Conduct periodic audits of CAMP and aircraft records to verify the accuracy of inspection dates, component entries,

life-limited-part status and AD compliance; communicate required corrections to the relevant departments and

perform other related duties assigned by the CAMO Manager.

Requirements

• Three to five years of relevant experience in CAMO, maintenance planning, production planning or aircraft technical

records within a commercial or business-aviation environment.

• Demonstrable advanced, hands-on experience using the CAMP Maintenance Tracking System is mandatory. The

candidate must be able to produce forecasts, manage due items, update compliance, reconcile records and generate

status reports with minimal supervision.

• Maintenance-planning training or relevant CAMP training is mandatory where equivalent competence can be

demonstrated.

• A degree, Higher National Diploma or equivalent qualification in aeronautical engineering, aircraft maintenance

engineering, mechanical engineering or a Licensed Engineer or a related aviation discipline.

• Good working knowledge of continuing-airworthiness requirements, approved maintenance Programmes,

airworthiness directives, service bulletins, MEL control and aircraft technical records. Familiarity with NCAA

requirements and EASA continuing-airworthiness practices is preferred.

• Experience with the use of CAMP, Microsoft Excel, Word, email and electronic document-management tools

confidently.

• Experience with Embraer aircraft, particularly the Phenom 300, Legacy 600 and ERJ 135 or 145 families, is an advantage.
