General Manager

Job Description

This is a newly created position for a fast-growing semiconductor start-up. Weare looking for a highly motivated individual to join us. It is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to take charge and make a difference for the company. Below are the responsibilities.

• Manage all Asia based manufacturing partners and vendor relationships
• Manage and work with vendors on cost reductions and improving operation and manufacturing efficiency
• Manage Product, Test, Planning and Quality functions to support offshore manufacturing test vendors including wafer test, assembly, final test, BI as well as managing quality issues from vendors and customers
• Manage and drive projects to improve yields and cost reduction activities
• Manage engineering activities, planning activities and sales order entry as well as scheduling to meet or exceed on-time delivery goals

Qualification

• Master Degree and major in Electronic Engineering or semiconductor manufacturing relevant area
• 5+ years of experience in a senior leadership role, preferably as a General Manager or equivalent, within the semiconductor industry
• Proven experience in leading a team to successfully achieve NPI releases for production
• Proven track record in managing product development, OSAT collaboration and partnership to achieve optimal production yield and cost in semiconductor manufacturing
• Proven track record of managing on-time delivery & shipments that meet or exceed goals
• Excellent leadership, strategic thinking and decision-making skills
• Bilingual in both English and Mandarin is a plus
