Technical Manager M/F

As part of its business development, the AMPERE group is looking for its future Technical Manager M/F to lead the site's technical department and support the entire product life cycle.

Acting as a true interface between customers, the design office, and production, you will ensure the design, industrialization, and continuous improvement of products while managing a multidisciplinary technical team.

Your missions: Steering the technical department Manage the Design Office / Industrialization team: activity planning, priority management, team leadership, annual reviews, recruitment, training and skills development. Be a proactive force in work organization and method improvement. Ensure the integration and training of new employees.

Design & customer relations Understand and analyze customer needs in order to propose the most relevant technical solutions. Participate in the design and co-design of products with customers. Perform costing for new products and their evolutions. Propose technical alternatives to improve efficiency and stock management while respecting specifications. Industrialization & technical monitoring Lead industrialization files: AMDEC, FIFAB, 1:1 scale plans, test programs, adjustment of assembly sequences, crimping and control means. Monitor the production of prototypes and initial samples and adjust manufacturing files. Validate the design of tooling related to new products. Guarantee the application of industrial processes and compliance with critical customer characteristics. Ensure, with the quality department, the conformity of initial samples and industrialization means. Participate in continuous improvement actions in collaboration with the Group Industrialization Manager.

Technical management & continuous improvement Guarantee the technical feasibility and costing of projects. Ensure the conformity of technical data in the ERP. Maintain technical monitoring of components and production means. Contribute to the capitalization of technical know-how. Ensure compliance with quality, safety, environment, and deadline requirements.

Profile sought:

Education & experience: Master's degree (Bac +5) in the industrial field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical and mechanical design. Managerial experience is appreciated.

Technical skills: Proficiency in reading electrical diagrams. Good command of IT tools and the Office Pack. Knowledge of software: AutoCAD, SEE Electrical, SolidWorks. Knowledge of electrical cabinet sizing, component layout, and electrical harnesses. Good knowledge of components related to customer markets. Knowledge of electrical safety standards. Proficiency in an ERP. Minimum English level B2.
