Your tasks

We are looking for a motivated boring mill operator for an independent and responsible role. The duties include machining metal components, boring holes, milling surfaces, and working according to technical drawings as part of a skilled team.

• Operating a boring mill in a metal workshop, including machining metal, boring holes, milling surfaces, and securing workpieces
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings
• Monitoring work quality and checking component dimensions

Requirements

This position is suitable for someone with previous experience in boring mill operations and a desire to develop their professional skills. We value a careful approach to work, good teamwork skills, and a proactive, hands-on attitude.

What Were Looking For

• Previous experience operating a boring mill in a metal workshop
• Ability to read technical drawings
• Skills in using vernier calipers, micrometers, and dial indicators
• Ability to work independently
• A proactive, hands-on attitude

We are looking for a CNC BORING MILL OPERATOR for our client company in Tampere for a long-term position!

The position will start as soon as we find the right person. Youll be employed by Amiko on an initial 12-month contract, with the possibility of an extension.
