Role Summary We are seeking an experienced, results-driven Plant Manager to lead and optimize all day-to-day operations of our precision CNC manufacturing facility. In this role, you will take full operational and P&L accountability for site performance, directing cross-functional teams across Production, Engineering, Quality Assurance, Maintenance, Facilities, and Procurement . The ideal candidate blends strategic operational leadership with hands-on shop-floor engagement. You will drive continuous improvement, operational excellence, safety compliance, and supply chain efficiency to hit aggressive operational and commercial targets. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): Revenue: Facility output and throughput meeting or exceeding planned financial revenue targets. On-Time Delivery (OTD): ≥ 98% on-time, fulfillment rate to customers. Operational Cost: Adherence to operational expenditure (OpEx) budgets, cost reduction, and scrap reduction. Profit Margins: Gross margin expansion through optimization, lean manufacturing, and direct labor/overhead efficiency. Customer Satisfaction: Minimization of customer quality complaints (PPM/returns) and responsiveness to delivery schedules. Key Responsibilities Operational & Strategic Leadership Direct end-to-end plant operations to ensure safety, production schedules, product quality, and cost efficiency align with corporate strategy. Formulate and execute annual operating budgets, managing capital expenditures (CapEx) and operational costs (OpEx). Foster a strong culture of workplace health, safety, and environmental stewardship (EHS), ensuring strict adherence to ISO and local regulatory standards. Functional Oversight Production: Oversee master scheduling and project execution to maximize overall equipment effectiveness (OEE) and output. Implement Lean Manufacturing methodologies (5S, Kaizen, Six Sigma, Value Stream Mapping) to eliminate waste and reduce cycle times. Implement digital systems, automations, and AI to increase efficiency Manage direct and indirect labour performance and costs Engineering: Partner with process and manufacturing engineering teams for First Articles (FA), automate processes, and de-bottleneck manufacturing lines. Champion automation, tooling upgrades, and technical troubleshooting to improve plant capability. Quality Assurance & Control: Ensure compliance with relevant industry quality management standards (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949, or ISO 13485). Lead root-cause analysis (RCA) and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA) for any internal deviations or customer non-conformances. Maintenance & Facilities: Establish and direct total productive maintenance (TPM) and predictive/preventive maintenance schedules of machines to minimize unplanned downtime. Oversee facility infrastructure, utilities, HVAC, energy management, and physical site security. Procurement & Supply Chain: Partner with procurement to establish supplier reliability, negotiate material costs, and sourcing of better cost/quality suppliers. Optimize inventory turnover and raw material/WIP levels to prevent bottlenecks while freeing working capital. People& Team Leadership Lead, mentor, and upskill department heads and supervisors across all operations functions. Drive employee engagement, retention, performance reviews, and succession planning across technical and non-technical workforce.

Qualifications& Experience Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, Chemical) or Operations/Supply Chain Management. Master’s degree or MBA is a plus. Experience: 8–12+ years of progressive manufacturing operations experience, with at least 5 years in a senior operational leadership role (Plant Manager, Director of Operations, or Operations Manager). Direct experience leading multi-disciplinary teams across production, engineering, maintenance, quality, and procurement. Technical & Methodological Expertise: Proven track record in Lean / Continuous Improvement (Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt preferred). Demonstrated experience managing site P&L, budgeting, and cost accounting within a manufacturing environment. Proficient with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and manufacturing execution systems (MES). Skills & Competencies: Exceptional leadership , communication, and conflict-resolution capabilities. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to root-cause analysis. High business acumen with a clear focus on customer satisfaction and margin growth.
