Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)

Job Description:

Respond promptly to emergency calls and provide immediate medical assistance at the scene

Assess the condition of patients who are injured or ill, and determine the appropriate level of care required

Administer pre-hospital treatment to stabilize patients for safe transport

Ensure the safe and timely transfer of patients to hospitals or healthcare facilities for further medical attention

Able to operate all medical equipment in the ambulance safely and effectively

Perform routine checks and maintenance of ambulance equipment to ensure readiness at all times

Requirements:

Minimum GCE ‘N’ Level

Certified Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) by SAF or SCDF

Relevant field experience in SAF or SCDF is an added advantage

Certification of BCLS & AED

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients, family members, and healthcare professionals

Proficient in operating and maintaining ambulance equipment and medical devices

Able to work in a fast-paced environment with minimum supervision
