-NEW- 6 Months Financial Reporting Specialist (Financial Services)

Job Responsibilities: ·       Support monthly and quarterly IFRS 17 financial reporting activities, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of reporting requirements. ·       Prepare and validate input data for financial reporting processes, including actual transaction data and reference data required for IFRS 17 reporting solutions. ·       Support the preparation of financial reporting disclosures for statutory, group, regulatory and ad-hoc reporting requirements. ·       Review and reconcile reporting outputs across systems and reporting components to ensure consistency, completeness and accuracy. ·       Validate financial reporting outputs and investigate variances, exceptions and unusual movements, ensuring timely resolution and clear documentation of findings. ·       Perform flux, variance and trend analysis to identify key movements, underlying drivers and potential reporting issues, providing relevant insights to stakeholders. ·       Monitor monthly and quarterly reporting timelines and deliverables, ensuring submissions are completed accurately and within agreed deadlines. ·       Support the continuous improvement of reporting processes, controls, documentation and working procedures to enhance efficiency, accuracy and control effectiveness. ·       Assist the Financial Reporting Lead with new reporting requirements and accounting standards implementation, including assessment and preparation of relevant deliverables. ·       Participate in accounting system calibration, User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and financial report customization, where required. ·       Prepare the holding company’s monthly management reporting and financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable accounting requirements. ·       Support other financial reporting, accounting and ad-hoc projects as assigned. Job Requirements ·       Minimum Diploma in a related discipline ·       Minimum 3 years of relevant experience ·       Able to start immediately or within short notice
