Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly billing and collection forecasts, monitoring performance against targets.
- Manage the end-to-end client and matter financial lifecycle, identifying process improvements and efficiencies.
- Provide guidance on cross-border billing, tax considerations, and complex collection matters.
- Monitor aged debtors and support bad-debt provision calculations and analysis.
- Support annual audits through detailed reviews of WIP and debtor balances.
- Manage client and matter inception workflows, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
- Prepare billing documentation, including hourly schedules, disbursements, and narrative breakdowns.
- Provide regular updates to partners and clients on billing, outstanding fees, and collections.
- Train Legal PAs on billing processes and 3E narrative completion.
- Collaborate with regional working capital teams on cross-unit and cross-border matters.
- Support pricing, profitability analysis, and matter financial management, providing insights to partners.
- Build strong relationships with client finance teams to facilitate timely invoice processing and cash collection.
- Partner with Business Development teams to provide financial insights and analysis.
- Adhoc tasks as assigned
Job Requirements
- Minimum Degree in a related discipline
- Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting duties
- Able to start immediately or within short notice
