Full Set Accountant (Financial Services)

My client is looking for a detail-oriented Accountant with a solid grounding in accounting principles to keep our records accurate and support the finance team.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain full sets of accounts for multiple entities (AP, AR, GL, bank reconciliations, intercompany, month-end closing)
- Prepare and file GST returns, and support auditors during the annual audit
- Assist with cash flow monitoring, payment planning and payment processing against the approved budget
- Review invoices and quotations, and resolve discrepancies with vendors
- Prepare monthly management reports and financial schedules
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies and statutory requirements
- Liaise with internal teams, auditors, tax agents, banks and other stakeholders
Requirements
- Degree in Accountancy or a related field, with 5+ years of experience
- Combined audit and full-set accounting background, including month-end closing
- Familiar with GST filing and working with auditors
- Able to read Chinese to liaise with Chinese speaking stakeholders
- Proficient in MS Excel and NetSuite
- Strong attention to detail, with the ability to work independently and manage deadlines
- Good organisational and communication skills, and a collaborative team player
