Etch Process Principal Engineer

Job Description:

• Develop and optimize advanced etch processes for performance, yield, and quality.
• Optimize process recipes, monitor tool performance, and improve process stability.
• Analyze process data, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective actions.
• Drive continuous improvement in productivity, yield, and manufacturing efficiency.
• Maintain SOPs, FMEA, and process control methodologies.
• Support new process development with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and technology partners.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership.
• Ensure safety, environmental, and manufacturing compliance.

Job Requirement:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Chemical, Mechanical, Engineering or a related discipline.
• 5–8 years of semiconductor wafer fabrication experience, with expertise in dry etch process engineering.
• Hands-on experience with process optimization, troubleshooting, SPC, DOE, and FMEA.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Good communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Ability to work independently and lead cross-functional technical initiatives.
• Experience in mentoring engineers and continuous process improvement preferred.
