Cloud Infrastructure Engineer, Central

We are seeking a Cloud Infrastructure & Security Engineer to support cloud infrastructure, cybersecurity, and platform operations in a government-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and support cloud infrastructure and security services.
• Provide infrastructure and security consultancy to application teams.
• Manage AWS cloud environments and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
• Strengthen infrastructure security, monitoring, and operational resilience.
• Support incident management, vulnerability remediation, and security compliance activities.
• Manage vendors responsible for infrastructure operations and security patching.
• Support DevOps and CI/CD initiatives using tools such as GitLab, GitHub, and Ansible.
• Conduct security assessments, audits, remediation activities, and security awareness training.
• Ensure compliance with Government ICT policies, standards, and GCC requirements.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in IT, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in infrastructure, cloud, or cybersecurity operations.
• Minimum 2 years of experience supporting application deployments across cloud and on-premises environments.
• Strong knowledge of cloud, server, network, security, and hosting environments.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM).
• Experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Familiarity with DevOps, Agile, CI/CD, and automation tools.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Government Commercial Cloud (GCC) and Government ICT environments.
• AWS certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect Associate or AWS DevOps Engineer.
• Knowledge of CIS Benchmarks, vulnerability management, and cloud security best practices.
