Global Social Media & Digital Communications Manager
About the Role If you're a strategic social media professional ready to lead at a global level, this is a role worth paying attention to! A large international law firm is looking for a Social Media & Digital Communications Manager to join their Brand & Communications team in London. This is a pivotal position at the helm of a growing global social media function, reporting directly to the Director of External Communications. Working as part of a collaborative international team, you'll coordinate closely with digital communications colleagues across Asia, Australia, and the US to deliver compelling content and a cohesive digital communications strategy across the globe. What You'll Be Doing Lead the firm's global social media strategy, covering organic and paid content, leadership channels, practitioner training, and employee advocacy. Own the EMEA content calendar, taking end-to-end responsibility for planning, creating, scheduling, and publishing high-quality content aligned to strategic priorities. Advise on social media best practice and produce compelling owned and paid content as part of wider marketing and communications initiatives, including thought leadership, corporate news, and brand-building activity. Track and report on channel performance, analysing monthly trends and campaign impact to drive continuous improvement in digital communications. Manage external agency relationships, including briefing and developing content and paid media strategies for the EMEA region. Develop and manage an effective employee advocacy strategy to maximise brand awareness and engagement across the EMEA team. Partner with the wider global digital communications function to ensure messaging consistency, brand voice, and strategic alignment across all regions. What We're Looking For Experience in digital communications or social media, with a track record of both strategic counsel and hands-on execution. Proven experience developing, delivering, and reporting on social media strategies and processes. Deep understanding of LinkedIn and experience training others on social media, with a genuine focus on building and maintaining an engaged audience. Strong copywriting skills, with the ability to produce clear, engaging digital content at pace. Hands-on experience with social media scheduling and reporting tools (e.g., Sprout Social, Hootsuite, Oktopost, Sprinklr). Solid sub-editing and proofreading skills, with confidence working to brand and tone-of-voice guidelines. Experience managing agency relationships and leading social media for multi-channel campaigns spanning email, PR, PPC, and display. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with demonstrated cultural awareness across global, cross-regional teams.
