The Supercargo team at Amasus Shipping is looking for reinforcement immediately. As a Supercargo, you are involved in various maritime projects and form an important link between the operation, the crew, clients, and other involved parties. You are involved in the preparation, guidance, and execution of activities and ensure that projects proceed safely, efficiently, and according to schedule.

You work both on board and on shore and deal with different types of ships, cargoes, and projects. In addition, it is important that you have technical insight, can work independently, and can switch effectively when circumstances change. No two days are the same: one day you are busy with the preparation of a project, while the next day you are on location supervising the execution. Together with an experienced team, you will be given the space to further develop yourself within the maritime sector.

Job Requirements

If you recognize yourself in the profile below, then we are looking for you:

• Experience within the maritime and/or heavy-lift industry is a plus
• Affinity with lifting operations and lifting equipment
• A nautical education is a plus
• Experience with programs such as AutoCAD, MS Visio and Delftload is a plus
• A good command of the English language
