Your tasks
Reporting to the Supply Chain management, you will manage all France and Export transport flows and supervise a team of 3 employees and one apprentice.
Management of France and Export transport
- Define and evolve transport plans (providers, lead times, shipping and delivery zones).
- Supervise the team and oversee France operations, from the transport request to delivery.
- Manage Export flows (road and maritime) as well as customs operations and DEB.
Management of providers and costs
- Manage relationships with carriers and logistics providers.
- Draft and conduct transport tenders.
- Control invoicing and provider performance, and produce financial cost reporting.
Performance and continuous improvement
- Monitor key indicators (safety, compliance, lead times, costs) and implement corrective actions.
- Challenge processes, evolve tools, and contribute to solving transport issues (delays, disputes).
- Ensure regulatory (safety, environment, customs) and technological monitoring.
Requirements
With a degree from an engineering school or a Master's in logistics/transport, you have a minimum of 3 years of experience in transport, ideally within a multi-country scope. Customs procedures and the challenges of industrial transport are familiar to you.
Initial managerial experience is an asset, but not a prerequisite: the ability to unite and support a team will be decisive.
Structured and organized, you know how to prioritize, delegate, and maintain perspective to manage the activity as a whole. Continuous improvement is part of your way of working: you like to challenge the existing state and propose concrete solutions. Customer-oriented, rigorous, and pragmatic, you have a business sense and enjoy collaborating with various stakeholders (providers, sales and Supply teams). Comfortable with IT tools, you know how to track and optimize flows with precision.
A minimum B2 level in English is required to operate in this international environment.
