Quarry Operations Manager (M/F)

Job Description:

Reporting to the Quarry Manager, you organize and drive the site's production. You directly supervise a team of 4 foremen, who daily lead a team of about thirty employees. In this capacity, your missions consist of participating in the deployment of the safety policy among your teams and in the field,

• Guaranteeing quarry operations in compliance with environmental commitments and quality standards,
• Organizing and deploying the company's management rituals, both collective and individual,
• Managing the skills and certifications of your teams,
• Optimizing material recovery according to the deposit resources,
• Contributing to the development and implementation of the 5-year exploitation plan,
• Driving the achievement of the operating budget.

Profile Description:

With an Engineering degree or a Master 2, you have at least 10 years of successful experience in the operational management of an extraction site (quarry, aggregates, industrial minerals). You master mining exploitation techniques and geology, and know how to drive performance and continuous improvement in your activity. A recognized leader, you unite and grow your teams, while cultivating true field proximity. Possessing a strong environmental sensitivity, you carry a clear vision and know how to engage your employees toward achieving objectives. Comfortable in outdoor environments, familiar with heavy machinery and the conditions specific to open-pit exploitation (dust, terrain), you combine rigor, a results-oriented culture, and a taste for the field.
