Accountant Payable Section Head

Full proficiency in using the Electronic Invoicing System.

Manage the entire accounts payable cycle, from invoice receipt to final payment settlement.

Supervise the matching of invoices against purchase orders and goods receipt notes (GRNs).

Coordinate with the Procurement and Warehouse Departments to resolve any invoice or quantity discrepancies.

Record all supplier invoices and verify their accuracy and validity.

Prepare journal entries related to supplier accruals and payments.

Maintain an updated supplier database containing all relevant supplier information.

Monitor supplier liabilities through accounts payable aging reports and ensure timely payments.

Track purchase orders, quantities actually received, and outstanding quantities.

Manage local and international service providers and monitor contractual obligations arising from agreements entered into by the company.

Prepare and review the monthly suppliers' trial balance.

Prepare reports related to suppliers and purchasing activities.

Reconcile supplier accounts at the end of each financial period.

Conduct financial analysis of supplier accounts at the end of each financial period.

Monitor Value Added Tax (VAT) and withholding and collection taxes.

Demonstrate full proficiency in using the Electronic Tax System, including calculating and submitting monthly and quarterly tax returns and other required tax declarations.

Monitor bank accounts and perform periodic bank reconciliations accurately.

Ensure compliance with internal financial policies, procedures, and applicable tax laws and regulations.

Qualifications and Requirements Education: Bachelor's degree in Commerce , Accounting major, from an Egyptian university (equivalent degrees are not accepted). Additional specialized certifications in the same field are preferred.

Experience: At least 5 years of experience in Finance, including 3 years in a similar position.

Technical Skills: Full proficiency in MS Excel, with the ability to work effectively with manual accounting systems and ERP systems.

Personal Skills: High level of accuracy, strong organizational skills, and excellent analytical abilities.
