- Supervising daily journal entries and general accounting operations.
- Managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, banks, cash, and operating expenses.
- Preparing monthly financial statements, budgets, cash-flow forecasts, and management reports.
- Managing the accounting cycle for imported equipment, including shipment and landed-cost calculations, customs, freight, bank charges, supplier advances, and foreign-exchange differences.
- Managing inventory accounting and reconciling the ERP, warehouse records, and general ledger.
- Tracking revenue, costs, gross profit, collections, and profitability for each individual project.
- Preparing profitability reports by project, client, supplier, brand, business sector, and salesperson.
- Calculating and verifying sales commissions according to the approved commission structure and collection status.
- Operating and developing the financial and inventory modules of the ERP system.
- Monitoring receivables, supplier balances, working capital, and cash requirements.
- Ensuring compliance with Egyptian accounting standards, taxation requirements, audits, and internal controls.
- A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- At least seven years of relevant experience, including two years in a supervisory or managerial position.
- Previous experience in trading, distribution, engineering, contracting, EPC, MEP, or another project-based business.
- Strong experience in import accounting, shipment costing, inventory accounting, and foreign-currency transactions.
- Strong knowledge of ERP systems, Microsoft Excel, Egyptian accounting standards, and tax requirements.
- Experience managing accounting staff and coordinating with external auditors and tax advisers.
- CMA, ACCA, CPA, or progress toward a professional qualification would be preferred.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, integrity, and proficiency in Arabic and English.
