Systems Analyst (Sage Intacct)

Location: London, hybrid - 2 days per week onsite Rate: £350-£400 per day IR35: Inside IR35 Duration: Initial contract to November, with potential for further work Start: ASAP

We're supporting a well-established, purpose-led organisation as they go through an important period of change across their finance systems.

They are currently undertaking a finance systems migration and are looking for a hands-on Systems Analyst to provide additional technical support during a key stage of the programme.

This is a hands-on role rather than a project management or transformation position. You'll be working directly with systems, integrations and data, helping the team solve problems and successfully embed their new finance systems environment.

Key responsibilities:

Support the ongoing finance systems migration and associated activity Assist with finance system administration and configuration Work hands-on with integrations, APIs and data flows Write and work with JSON and XML Support data management, cleansing and migration activities Use advanced Excel, including Power Query and macros Troubleshoot system and data issues Provide practical support and training to users Work closely with Finance and the wider project team to resolve issues and priorities

What we're looking for:

Hands-on Finance Systems Analyst, Systems Analyst or Systems Accountant experience Strong practical experience with JSON and XML Advanced Excel skills, including Power Query and macros Sage Intacct experience is highly desirable Experience working with APIs and systems integrations Strong data management and data cleansing experience Experience administering accounting or finance systems PS Financials / IRIS Financials experience would be advantageous A part-qualified accounting background would be beneficial Strong communication skills with the ability to support and train users Comfortable working at pace and getting into the technical detail
