ENVIRONMENT PROJECT MANAGER - M/F

Description:

MAIN MISSION UNDER THE DIRECT RESPONSIBILITY OF THE DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS, AND WITHIN A TEAM OF 2 TO 3 PROJECT MANAGERS, THE ENVIRONMENT PROJECT MANAGER MANAGES VARIOUS PROJECTS RELATED TO THE IMPROVEMENT OF THE MOUNTAIN DOMAIN, THE KNOWLEDGE AND PROTECTION OF BIODIVERSITY AND NATURAL ENVIRONMENTS. THEY SECURE PROJECTS ON THE ENVIRONMENTAL SIDE, FROM THE REFLECTION PHASE TO THE MONITORING OF ERC MEASURES, INCLUDING THE CONSTRUCTION PHASE. THEY ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE PLANNING AND BUDGET OF THE OPERATIONS UNDER THEIR CHARGE. THEY PARTICIPATE IN THE DESIGN OF THE COMPANY'S ENVIRONMENTAL STRATEGY AND COMMUNICATE IT INTERNALLY AND EXTERNALLY. THEY SHARE PROJECT PROGRESS WITH THEIR HIERARCHY AND THEIR COLLEAGUES IN THE PROJECT UNIT, WHOM THEY MAY ASSIST IF NEEDED.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Leads and coordinates the environmental scoping of projects (Impact studies, case-by-case files, water law files) in connection with other project managers and the various instructing services.
• Identifies, maps, and monitors environmental issues prior to project reflections and leads the implementation of various environmental studies while ensuring compliance with the regulatory framework.
• Performs environmental monitoring of works and ensures compliance with the ERC measures prescribed in the decrees.
• Participates in the coordination of projects managed by the project unit.
• Leads the environmental observatory.
• Assumes responsibility for maintaining the planning and budget of the projects entrusted to them, as well as the budget for environmental missions.
• Leads the multidisciplinary project team formed for each project.
• Participates in the development of the investment program (definition of projects, costings, schedules, etc.).
• Supervises the intervention of service providers and companies and guarantees compliance with safety rules.
• Participates in the definition of the investment program.
• Data processing and creation of GIS mapping for the Tignes and Ste-Foy-Tarentaise domains.
• Participates in the reflection and implementation of transition projects and implements regular internal and external communication on the actions taken.

Profile sought:

PREREQUISITES

• Education: Bac +5
• Experience: 2 to 5 years in a position with significant environmental challenges in the field of development.
