Process Engineer – Synthesis Development and Production

Altris is facing an expansion phase and needs to increase its production capacity. We must ensure high-quality production that meets our customers' expectations. We are looking for you who can ensure this delivery and participate in further developing the process. Since Altris is a startup, you will work very closely with the core business and have good opportunities to influence your situation.

We are looking for you who holds a Master's degree in Chemistry or an equivalent level of education and has experience working in a laboratory environment. You have good knowledge of synthesis chemistry, and knowledge in apparatus technology and electrochemistry is a merit. As a person, you are responsible, self-driven, and structured, with a collaborative working style combined with an eye for detail and the ability to keep detailed notes. It is important that you find it easy to communicate orally and in writing in English, and knowledge of Swedish is a merit. Of course, you are driven by a genuine interest in Chemistry and development.

Your role within the company will be the production and production development of Altris battery materials. In the development of the synthesis, it is important to ensure maintained performance, and it is therefore a merit if you have experience in electrochemistry/batteries and XRD to perform these controls. The synthesis is facing a scale-up task that you will participate in, which includes the design and construction of a new reactor. In your role, you will work closely with the founders of the company and help drive the company's development.
