Logistics Manager (M/F)

Job Description:

For our industrial client whose main activity is the manufacturing of metal parts, we are looking for a Logistics Manager for a permanent position (CDI).

Reporting to the Management, you will manage all logistics activities of the industrial site and guarantee the fluidity of flows, from procurement to product shipment. Heading a multidisciplinary team (shipping, stock management, subcontracting, forklift drivers, driver, and team leader), you will organize operations, support your collaborators, and ensure the achievement of performance objectives.

In this capacity, you will notably be required to:

Manage, lead, and develop the skills of your team.

Organize and optimize logistics flows, stocks, shipments, and subcontracting activities.

Drive performance indicators, analyze risks, and implement continuous improvement actions.

Supervise inventories, product packaging, and the handling of logistics incidents.

Manage relationships with carriers and service providers (consultations, negotiations, monitoring of services, and cost control). Ensure order tracking and guarantee a high level of customer satisfaction in connection with the various departments of the company.

Ensure compliance with quality and safety requirements as well as internal procedures.

As a field manager, you are also able to provide operational support to your teams when the activity requires it.

Day shift position, 35h/week.

Profile Description:

With higher education in logistics, supply chain, or industrial management (Bac +3 to Bac +5), you have proven successful experience as a Logistics Manager in an industrial environment.

You master office tools, a GPAO software, as well as the fundamentals of industrial logistics: flow management, stocks, inventories, FIFO, transport, and customs formalities. A professional level of English (minimum B1) is required to carry out your missions. Knowledge of the metallurgy sector and customer or supplier portals is an asset. Possession and use of the caces R489 category 3 is required.
