AFTER-SALES TECHNICIAN (M/F)
ALTER EGO TERTIAIRE, a temporary employment and CDD/CDI placement agency, is looking for an After-Sales Automotive Technician (M/F) on a CDI basis for one of its clients located in Sainte-Clotilde.
Your missions
Diagnostics and troubleshooting:
Perform mechanical, electrical, and electronic diagnostics using appropriate tools, identify the source of malfunctions, and determine the necessary interventions. Perform checks, measurements, and tests to establish an accurate diagnosis, including complex technical issues. Consult manufacturer documentation and procedures to identify suitable solutions.
Maintenance and repairs:
Perform maintenance operations, preventive maintenance, and mechanical, electrical, and electronic repairs on various vehicle components. Intervene on embedded systems and perform necessary updates, reprogrammings, or settings. Replace defective parts and ensure the restoration of vehicles in accordance with manufacturer recommendations.
Control and monitoring:
Check the proper functioning of vehicles after intervention and perform necessary tests before handover. Fill out repair orders and technical reports to ensure the traceability of interventions. Participate in the monitoring of warranty files and exchange with technical teams and manufacturer contacts.
Customer relations and after-sales service:
Provide technical support to after-sales advisors and receptionists to identify the work to be carried out and formulate recommendations. Explain the interventions performed and any potential additional work to be planned to customers. Contribute to customer satisfaction and loyalty through the quality of interventions.
Quality and safety:
Respect manufacturer procedures, safety rules, environmental standards, and quality standards. Maintain awareness of technological developments, particularly electric and hybrid vehicles and embedded electronic systems. Ensure the proper maintenance of equipment and the workstation and contribute to the good organization of the workshop.
Profile sought:
-Holder of a BTS Maintenance des Véhicules or equivalent training in the field of automotive maintenance. -You have 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar position, ideally within an after-sales service or an automotive workshop. -You have solid knowledge of automotive mechanics, electricity, and electronics and master diagnostic and troubleshooting methods. -You are comfortable with diagnostic tools and technical equipment used in the workshop. -Proficiency in professional English is required to be able to understand technical documentation and communicate with English-speaking contacts. -You hold a driving license (Permis B) and are comfortable driving vehicles for testing and control purposes. -Rigorous, methodical, and organized, you are capable of analyzing a technical problem and finding suitable solutions. -Autonomous in your missions, you also enjoy teamwork and know how to communicate effectively with the various stakeholders in the after-sales service. -You are recognized for your sense of service, your reactivity, and your ability to respect procedures and deadlines. -Curious and interested in the developments of the automotive sector, you are able to adapt to new technologies and embedded systems.
