Your tasks

Context To strengthen its Digital Solutions division, the Technologies and Innovation Department of the ALTEN group is recruiting, for one of its public sector clients, a Tech Lead Java/Angular, under the responsibility of the Technical Manager.

Main Missions

  • Technically lead application development projects in Java (backend) and Angular (frontend).
  • Design and architect robust software solutions, respecting security and compliance standards (GDPR, ISO 27001, etc.).
  • Supervise and mentor a team of developers to guarantee code quality and adherence to best practices.
  • Collaborate with business teams to translate functional needs into suitable technical solutions.
  • Ensure evolutionary maintenance of existing applications and propose technical improvements.

Requirements

Technical Skills

  • Java (Spring Boot, Hibernate)
  • Angular (TypeScript, RxJS)
  • Software architecture (Microservices, REST API)
  • Good practices in application security (OWASP, access management)
  • Code management tools (Git, GitLab, Jenkins)

Personal Qualities

  • Leadership and ability to lead a technical team
  • Rigor and organizational skills
  • Analytical mindset to solve complex problems
  • Pedagogy to train and support developers

Education / Experience

  • Graduate of an engineering school in Computer Science or holder of a Master's degree (Bac+5) in the same field.
  • Eligible for or holding security clearance (e.g., defense security clearance, GDPR, etc.).
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in Java/Angular development, including 3 years as a Tech Lead or similar role.

Languages and Mobility

  • Professional proficiency in English (written and oral).
  • Occasional travel within France is to be expected.
