The Direction des Compétences et des Practices (DCP) is the host entity for the Specialists of the Alten Group. It is dedicated to managing high-level expertise needs. To strengthen its Electronic Engineering Practice, the DCP is looking for a Hardware Electronics Specialist acting in close collaboration with the Practice Manager, for our clients in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region.
Main Missions ALTEN supports its clients in the energy sector in the development of high-tech Electrical / Electronic products, intelligent embedded systems, energy management solutions, conversion and storage equipment, or even connected infrastructures. As part of your activities, you will intervene on internal or client expertise needs, in synergy with the Operational Directorates. Your role will be to: Technical Expertise Intervene as an Electronics specialist on various client projects or result-oriented projects managed by ALTEN Respond to technical expertise needs related to electronics (hardware) with multi-sector coverage among our clients and on our projects. Provide your expertise during pre-sales phases: analysis of client needs and development of technical responses with sales and project teams Strategic Development Contribute to the definition and implementation of an Electronic expertise development strategy Participate in the structuring and evolution of the sector in the short, medium, and long term Visibility and Partnerships Participate in major external events: trade fairs, conferences, professional associations Search for and develop strategic partnerships in your field Lead the Community of consultants within the Electronic Practice in your field Recruitment Contribute to the technical qualification of candidates as part of recruitment processes
Training / Experience You are a graduate of an Engineering school or hold a Master's degree (BAC+5) in electronics You have 10 years of experience in development and/or hardware design Technical Skills Electrical systems architecture Analog & digital electronic design (low voltage, filtering, sensor/actuator interfaces) Energy conversion / Power electronics (AC/DC, DC/DC, inverters, circuit breakers…) Mastery of electronic CAD tools & simulations (type SPICE, Matlab/Simulink) Functional safety / Electrical safety Mastery of industrial and home automation communication protocols Knowledge of EMC constraints & environmental qualifications (mechanical, thermal…) Good knowledge of the regional electrical/electronic ecosystem Embedded systems skills (an asset) Personal Skills Leadership and ability to unite teams Clear communication and transmission of technical concepts Rigor, methodology, ability to document, and results orientation Ease in multi-disciplinary and international environments Innovation, proactive approach, and ability to challenge the existing Languages and Mobility English: Mastery in writing and speaking is essential. Mobility: Travel required for meetings and professional events.
