Supplier Performance & Development Manager - Aeronautics (M/F)

As part of our growth in the aeronautics and Defense sector, we are looking for a Supplier Quality Manager - Aeronautics (M/F) to work for one of our clients, a world leader in helicopters. As part of a project team, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with our client's quality standards among suppliers. In this capacity, your missions will be: Manage a portfolio of suppliers to improve performance (lead times and quality) Define and shape KPIs to drive your activity Define corrective action plans (via methods: 8D, Six Sigma, Lean…) Facilitate and monitor action plans Conduct audits and capacity assessments Drive technical topics in connection with various departments (procurement, purchasing, methods, design office, and production) Guarantee compliance with standards at suppliers Guarantee the lead time and quality of parts Management of non-conformities Ensure the link between suppliers and the client You will be required to work in various technical environments (mechanical aeronautical production environment, composite, special processes, electronics, avionics, …). This position will involve occasional travel to suppliers throughout France and Europe.

You have an engineering background (generalist, production, industrial/mechanical engineering, supply chain, or industrial quality) or hold a Master's degree (Bac +5) in a technical field, and you have at least 5 years of experience in a similar position within an industrial environment. You demonstrate dynamism, communication skills, listening skills, and curiosity. You know how to demonstrate initiative as well as analytical and synthesis skills. You have knowledge of LMP and/or supplier relations in quality and/or supply chain. You master the English language in a professional context, with a minimum C1 level.
